Serving Size: 4 people
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of kala channa
- 1 chopped small onion
- 1 chopped tomato
- 1/2 tea spoon ginger and garlic paste
- 1 tea spoon red chili powder
- 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 tea spoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 tea spoon hing
- 1/2 tea spoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds
- salt as per taste
Recipe :
- Take kala channa and soak that in water for about 5 to 6 hours before you boil it.
- Take some oil in a pan add some mustard & cumin seeds to it
- When they crackle put some hing, chopped onion and ginger paste and garlic paste.
- Fry this well
- Now add the chopped tomato and fry this well again
- Now add some turmeric powder, red chili powder and garam masala powder too.
- Finally add the boiled kala channa to the gravy
- Add little water and salt to taste and mix it well
- Let it boil for 10 to 15 min on simmer
- After its ready serve it hot with some chopped coriander leaves garnishing and lemon juice as per the taste
